Sleeping is an important part of life but people usually don’t pay enough
attention to it. Although most of us know that we should sleep about 8 hours a day only few follow this rule. It’s because
we are not aware of the consequences of lack of sleep.
Studies say that getting the right amount of good sleep is crucial to our
health and well-beeing. This is the moment when our brain recharges and our
cells repair themselves which provides better concentration and performance
during the day . Instead, a lack of sleep may cause depression, anxiety and even
serious health problems like infertility, diabets and heart disease. The right
amount of sleep is also essential when it comes to weight loss because research
shows that people who sleep less than 7 hours a day are much more likely to be
obese.
What’s important about sleep is also it’s quality. That’s why we should
remove all the elecronic devices from the bedroom (to avoid electromagnetic
waves), keep the bedroom quiet and dark and be active during the day(to fall
asleep with ease). These tips together with 7-8 hours of sleep should make it easier
to wake up and give us energy to meet new challenges.
